Site for fashion photographer David Burton. Our brief was to create a site that felt dynamic, evolving and referenced the spontaneous quality of the work. The initial presentation of key images from different stories allows for an immediate understanding of David’s aesthetic. Our design took its reference from the arrangements of transparencies on the light-box and prints pinned to the studio wall. We designed and built the site to feature randomised organically changing page layouts, with image sizing and positioning based on an a ratings system controlled behind the scenes via a bespoke content management system.
